SHAFTER-WASCO IRRIGATION DISTRICT

New Office And New Manager

Lots of change has been taking place at the Shafter-Wasco Irrigation District. The District has settled into its new offices at Kimberlina Road and Highway 43 near Waso and has welcomed a new General Manager, Dana Munn.
He previously managed the North Kern Water Storage District. Munn succeeds Jerry L. Ezell, who retired March 31 after more than 15 years with SWID.
Ezell was honored over the past month with a retirement banquet in Bakersfield, and resolutions of thanks and appreciation from the SWID and Friant Water Authority boards.
As part of a reception honoring Ezell and welcoming Munn held March 24, SWID’s directors held an open house during which members of the public toured and viewed the district’s new offices.

It’s been a time of transition in the Shafter-Wasco Irrigation District. One change is SWID’s new office near Wasco. The other is in managers, from Jerry L. Ezell (left) to Dana Munn, who previously managed the North Kern Water Storage District.
